We arrived in Portland on Wednesday in time to go pick up my sister and Pritam at the airport coming back from their trip to visit friends and relative on the east coast. While in Seattle, Dad and I had read about a display at the Portland Art Museum of the Tuileries Gardens by the Louvre Museum in Paris so we went to the museum Thursday to see the exhibit. Later we went for ice cream at the Salt and Straw and discovered that it was "Last Thursday" night. Apparently an excuse to dress up and wander on street where the the Salt and Straw is located. It made for a true Portland experience.

You couldn't take photos with a regular camera inside the special exhibit but the museum also has a great Native American exhibit and I loved the creative and colorful boots.
