Today we rested mostly. In the afternoon, the kids and I ventured out to the beach. Casey was too cold and quickly got back in the car, but Shea and I hunted for shells and took pictures. We also stopped a little place called the Celtic Ancient Museum. A small place run by a gentleman from Connecticut with some interesting odds and ends.
I want this amber necklace!
Interesting use of an old Chevy. If you look closely you can see Shea's face in the middle upper mirror.
The kids choosing dinner at the "The Diner" which is suppose to be a "50's" style American diner...
Doubt you would have seen Mushy Peas in a 50s diner
I'm sure I have a picture of this shop from when Joe and I came here 10 or so years ago.
Shea and the world's largest mastodon skull
Shea braved the very cold water for a good picture - must be related to me.
You can rent horses (or ponies as they call them here) to ride on the beach. Shea wanted to know why you have to scoop after your dogs but apparently not after your horse.
