On Moving In

The cats got to move in on Tuesday into the basement. When set free of their carry case, they immediately walked the perimeter of the basement and then Erica found a hidey hole. Shea and Joe moved in on Wednesday and I moved in on Thursday when not only were the beds available, so was the shower and some cooking utensils. The rest of the stuff is slowing moving from the pods to somewhere in the house. Some of where it goes depends on if Shea and Joe want to carry it upstairs. There is a smallish room off the kitchen with a nice, real wood burning stove and Joe has made it his - we call it Joe's Room - with his new Barco Lounger and new Big A** television, his pictures over the mantel and his sheep horns mounted. Lest you think Joe is having all the benefits when you peruse the pictures, Shea will also be getting a new TVand I got a new job that I LOVE and I don't have do any of the moving. The only thing that would make it more perfect would be if Casey was near at hand. Since I've come here I've been able to/had to decrease the amount of insulin I take by a third. As lack of stress makes your blood sugar more controllable, I can only think that Kentucky really agrees with me.

I noticed your comment on sleeping in my bed... That's what I had planned on. I will sleep sleep on the floor considering I'm younger and it bothers me less. My bed is very comfy. =]
