Spring, Spring and more Spring

Spring lasts a long time in Kentucky and comes in waves - first the crocuses, then the daffodils, next the tulips and the grape hyacinth. In addition to the grape hyacinths scattered about the yard in odd places, we have wild violets all over the lawn.

The bird feeders - notice the cats enjoying the sun and hoping for some fun. Joe put the one bird feeder low to the ground hoping to discourage the squirrels who seem to like to stay up in the trees and are amazingly clever at getting to the seeds in the feeders.
