Easter Sunday

After church services, the children 'found' Easter eggs on the lawn and then under the direction of Doris they peeled the eggs and made egg salad for the monthly potluck. The little one above and below in the yellow dress, with her pink sun glasses firmly in hand, is Doris' granddaughter Karma who I lived with the first month here in Kentucky. She is quite the cutie and I miss seeing her on a daily basis. Afterward I drove out the Louisville to pick up Dawn and Demelza who I haven't seen in a year. Demelza has been riding horses for about two years and is totally enthralled with all the horses she sees here in Kentucky.

Retrieving eggs from under bushes.

Giving her mom the eggs.

The gang peeling eggs and making egg salad.

As you can see they made quite a lot of egg salad! That's Doris on the left.

In Louisville you can take a horse draw carriage ride around town. This one reminded Demelza of the horse she rides at home.

Hamming it up with the horse statues in Louisville. I have a pic of Casey and Shea by this same horse with is across the street from the Old Spaghetti Factory.
