Well, after one week of school, we had a 3 day weekend due to Martin Luther King Day. As I told my students - it couldn't come soon enough. It was quite a week including having to juggle schedules until we got the rental car. For those of you who don't know, Casey had an accident - slid on some black ice and the car lost the fight with the mailbox she hit. Casey is okay - the good news, it will take 2 weeks to get the car fixed - the bad news. So the long weekend was nice and Casey and I went hiking at Raven's Run. The next day I stopped at Jacobson Park to see the large number of migrating geese and the even larger number of not migrating mallard ducks.
