It was a very nice and relaxed Christmas and New Years break from work. We visited friends, went to movies and out to dinners. We also enjoyed a bit of snow and some very cold weather at the end. Classes start again next week, so lots of prep going on this week. Meanwhile, it was below zero today and the heat was out at work for the first half of the morning - fun.
Joe and I went to the Christmas show at Renfro Valley - about 30 minutes south of Richmond. These two young women were fabulous cloggers.
Somehow Casey and Matt now have an additional dog (courtesy of Matt's mom and her landlord). His name is Yoda and he appears to be part Chihuahua and part Rat Terrier. As you can see he is less than 10 pounds and the same size as Pink who is probably about 7 months old. He gets along well with Gus and Pink both.
I took Gus and sometime Yoda to the park quite a bit during break. Gus wasn't quite interested enough in the ducks to hit the water.
Also did some hiking - Casey at Anglin Falls. Yes it was cold, but no she wasn't actually in the water.

I love the rolls of hay with a sprinkling of snow - they look like overgrown frosted shredded wheat.
Shea with Gus walking on water - well actually walking on ice. Gus did manage to break off a large chunk of ice to chew on.
