More memories

Well over a week has passed since the end of spring break and I can't resist posting a few more pictures of Disney.

Matt avoiding the camera and hamming it up at Casey's Corner.

Casey on the Tea Cups holding on to decrease the spin.

My favorite fake pirate on the Caribbean ride. When I was little I was sure this pirate (the same one at Disneyland) was real because his foot was dirty. I don't really understand that logic now, but it made sense to me when I was 5.

Arty photo on the Space Mountain ride.

Matt's birthday is in a few days, but it was close enough that Casey got him a Happy Birthday button. So all day everyone wished him a happy birthday and the waiters at this restaurant sang to him and gave him Pinocchio stickers.

When the kids were in grade school (November 25, 1996) the parade had it's final night at Disneyland. We went as we had year round passes at the time. The park was so crowded that they closed admissions to the park. Joe had to leave the park because he was concerned he might have a panic attack. The kids and I stayed for the parade.

The kids hamming it up trying to pull the sword from the stone.

All day Shea wanted this Dole pineapple smoothie but the lines were long. He'd wanted one since last October at Disneyland when the lines were also too long and then when he went back to get one they were closed. So late in the evening when it was getting cold, he final got to buy one since the lines had gotten short.

They had closed the monorail for the night by the time we left so we had a boat ride back to the parking lot. This is the lights of Disney World shining over the water. Pretty.
