Magic Kingdom - have a Magic day

Tinkerbell

I finally made it to Magic Kingdom - it was very disconcerting. Like Disneyland, but not like Disneyland. I guess you are suppose to compare all of Disneyworld (the four different parks) to Disneyland, but for me it was the Magic Kingdom compared to Disneyland and as an individual park it doesn't quite measure up. Plus that weird feeling that things were missing or misplaced. The most amusing thing was to tell park employees that it felt smaller than Disneyland - they seemed quite insulted and then wanted to know what they could do to fix it. We did catch the interpreters at the parade and got to meet Casey's mentor, Amy. We did ride Space Mountain three times - my favorite, but Thunder Mountain was closed for maintenance. Matt was wearing a Happy Birthday button so we were amused by several renditions of Happy Birthday through out the day. And we did get to see Tinkerbell at the Electric Light Parade.

The princess castle.

That's the four of us at the back of the log.
