Cats and Snow

Last winter Casey's roommate got a bit crazy on her and Casey moved to another room. The ex-roommate went out that night with friends and we can only assume did a little too much drinking and came by our house late at night and stole my paving stone with the Celtic knot. So I recently made a replacement paving stone and Shea and I placed it where the old stone had been. Looks nice. While Matt and Casey drove down to Orlando, we babysat their cats - Amadeus and Bonnaroo (Lady A and Thing B.) Willow avoided them, Max hissed at them but Simba was generally friendly. We recently had a full moon and I was tickled to be able to figure out the right balance of exposure to get the details of the moon with over exposing it. And we finally have had some real snow this weekend. It started Thursday evening. Friday was a 2 hour delay. I spent most of the day writing a grant, but took a walk around campus for a break and took some pictures. It was VERY cold.

The new stepping stone.

Bonnaroo relaxing. He's so completely black, he tends to disappear in pictures.

Simba and Amadeus making nice.

An almost full moon.

Snow!
