Venice

It has been a long time and I really meant to blog before this - like when I went to New Orleans, but maybe later.  Right now I am in Burgos, Spain teaching a Study Abroad class with nine of my EKU students.  But first I went to Venice - a long time wish.  It was amazing.  Everyone walks or takes a water bus.  When you walk you are frequently going over canals via small bridges, maybe 20ish steps each.  No mean feat when you are dragging a 50 pound suitcase.  Now the photos...

 Up the bridge

 Down the canal

A very old church - no pictures allowed inside.

 Hanging out in the plaza

 School kids doing a tour.

 Graffiti seems the same everywhere

 A private home

 Cafe art

 Murano glass display

 Speaks for itself

One of many churches
