I know the summer will just zip by, but right now it stretches ahead. Two and a half months of warm, very humid air and thunderstorms. Lots of glorious fireflies. We are going to have to have our septic system fixed this summer, so I decided to make a front yard garden (the backyard gardens will probably be destroyed when dug up to find the septic). I got the idea from visiting in Portland where many people have front yard gardens. I've also worked hard at pull out weeds and fixing up the rest of the front yard. Joe and I finally added a handrail to the tree house in the backyard. A couple of chairs and we now have a fabulous view of the fireflies. Gus and Pink joined us for the show.
