Summer comes

The fireflies have returned - a sure sign that summer is here.  Last week a meteor shower was predicted, so Joe and I got up at 2 AM and drove out to look.  We did see a few shooting starts but not quite the storm predicted.  Still, it was beautiful to see the stars with less light pollution.   The peonies are in full bloom and the roses are quite beautiful at the Arboretum in Lexington.  Gus has been going to doggie day care about once a week since Casey moved home again.  It does appear he has a good time, he certainly comes home tired.
