Shea's birthday

Yesterday was Shea's 24th birthday.  We celebrated by being happy that Casey did not get the cruddy cold virus that wiped out Shea and then Joe and then me.  Fever, aching joints, sore throat, cough, sinus pain, nausea, exhaustion, etcetera.  I went back to work today and then to the doctor as I finally felt well enough to sit around the waiting room.  Verdict = sinus infection and bronchitis due to lingering effects of the viral infection.  Four prescriptions later, I am hopeful we will be able to go out to dinner on Casey's birthday and be able to celebrate both kids' birthdays.  I did have some fun yesterday watching Luna and Simba chase each other around the yard when it wasn't raining.

Fortunately we decorated the tree the day before Shea got sick

Simba with Luna up a tree

Luna deciding the best way to come down the tree

Backing down seems the best choice

 and still backing down

and now far enough down to jump the rest of the way

 and heading for the ground
