Labor Day Weekend

And now it is September! We are falling into Autumn. Although it is expected to get up to 90 a couple of days this week, it definitely cools down at night, is mostly in the low 80s during the day and wonderful cool breezes come our way. Over the long weekend we had dinner with Casey, her roomie Katie and a friend of theirs, Chris. Chris is an aviation major and was fascinated by PaPa's blogs on his time as a naval pilot. He also quickly found PaPa's plane he sold - still somewhere in California. We had a great dinner including Triffle - made by Joe, inspired by NaNa and Auntie Dawn. Sunday, the kids and I hike the Pinnacles and actually went to an outcropping we hadn't made it to before, Eagle's Nest (no eagles or nests visible). Monday I just did a lot of yard work, but a nice change from school work.

Some of the leaves are starting to change color! Arty photo op.
