First week of school

The first week of school is over! Good and bad and ugly. My classes went well. We had to listen to an alarm going off constantly most of Wednesday and again on all of Thursday (because apparently the fix from Wednesday didn't hold). It is amazing that I could be busy all summer and still have so many things to do now that school has started. Friday I went to the eye doctor and got a clean bill of health - so to speak...no diabetic retinopathy.

Casey is moved in to her new dorm and seems to be enjoying her new roommate - Katie. Katie, Casey, Shea and I went to Pops at the Park the Saturday before school started. Katie actually got Shea to come up front and dance. See the pictures below for proof.

Katie left, Casey middle, Shea right at Pops.

Katie actually got Shea to slow dance with her.

The girls lofted their beds to add space to their room. Smallish, but bigger than Casey's room last year. Casey's bed is on the left.

The new dorm has a nice loft area with lots of chairs, sofas and tables for studying or chatting. You can look down at the front desk where Casey will be working.
