One of the fun parts of my job and of living in Kentucky is I get to drive all about the state visiting students on fieldwork. While driving I get to see wonderful old barns - a love of mine, I'm not sure why - and my favorite, these painted barns. I even got the chance to see this refurbished covered bridge (sorry, no Clint Eastwood or Meryl Streep to be found) These picture were taken in Blue Licks Battlefield State Park

I'm a new-comer to you blog, but wanted to say how much I enjoy my visits!! While Virginia may be where I live, Kentucky is where my heart belongs!! Enjoy your Derby-weekend--Have a mint julip for me! :-))
