I found a little diary today the I wrote in over the first years of Shea's life. When he was two months old I wrote "The first thing I noticed other than your boyhood was that you have your father's ears, kind of crinkled and then your wonderful cleft chin - something I never expected. You were so alert and looking around at everything. You've continued to be a very alert baby - able to hold your head up from day one, and always interested in new surroundings...You love being out of doors and being cozy in the snuggle sack - taking you for a walk is still the surest way to calm you down..." It is amazing to look at my adult son and remember that little baby.

Shea's 21st

Love the pictures...and the memories. It truly is incredible that our children are now adults (or nearly adults) and you and I haven't aged a bit. I have fond memories of playing with Shea and Casey in the mountains at Green Valley. It seems like yesterday. Getting all the kids bundled up, going outside for forty-five minutes, coming back in to warm up and dry off...then do it all over again an hour later.
Happy birthday to Shea! We were at a restaurant on the 5th and recalled that his birthday was the day before, so we toasted him with lemonade.
We aren't getting older, only our children do!
