Kid, dogs and fireworks

Memorial Day weekend we went to Doris' for an old fashioned barbecue. Doris was kind enough to make sure the chicken was gluten free for Shea who came along with only a little pressure. We got to meet Len who was visiting from Australia whose mum is an OT both Joe and I met when at the conference in England. We met his dad there too. After a wonderful dinner - barbecue chicken and pork, homemade potato salad and pasta salad, fresh fruit and bourbon cheesecake with pecan crust and caramel sauce - also homemade - for desert, we were entertained by a home fireworks display. Apparently in Kentucky, or at least in Madison County, there are no laws against shooting off fireworks at home. A good time was had by all.
