Odds and End of Summer

Shea made it safely to San Mateo and seems to be having a great time.  Casey came to visit and go to a music festival - well really she came to go to a music festival but was also happy to visit with us.  She'll be leaving again on Friday. I am in mourning for summer as we move toward the end of August and the start of the Fall semester.  Here are some random photos I thought you might enjoy including a couple from Shea.
Cool building and Mural on a building in Chicago

Funny things you see driving in Chicago

Tobacco getting ripe on the drive to pick up Casey

Casey and Joe at the Spaghetti Factory (a favorite when in Louisville) Very crowded that day as a boy band was playing at the local Yum Center so we ate upstairs in the bar area.

Pretty chandeliers at the Spaghetti Factory

Pickled the last of my cucumbers

Morning fog made for lots of pretty spiderwebs the other morning.

You can see the multiple webs in one place, spider duplexes

Shea's pic of the Salt Flats in Utah

A labyrinth in San Francisco - the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.  His boss, Ritchie on the far right of the labyrinth.
