If you don't do Facebook, you may not know that we have a puppy. Since Gus moved to Portland, we have been missing having a dog. So after much arm twisting, I dragged Joe off the the Lexington Humane Society, along with Shea for reinforcement. All it took was one look from Clementine and Joe was hooked. So one and half weeks after getting our new puppy (fortunately she was easy to house train), we had the BIG storm. It snowed all day Monday - over a foot. The last big snow like this in KY was 1998. When you have a puppy who is only about a foot tall, you have to shovel pathways and potty spots. Clementine loves the snow but about 10 minutes of running around in the cold and she is ready to nap. As for the cats, so far Pink is enjoying the new puppy, Luna tolerates her, Max runs and hides, and Simba is slowly starting to think it is okay to come in the house. It probably helps that she isn't any bigger than the cats. So I spent 4 hours shoveling the driveway because I might have to work tomorrow. More snow predicted tonight.
