Ode to Tigger

While the kids and I were in California our old orange-striped tabby disappeared. Tigger was at least 15 years old and not doing so well lately. I believe he went to rejoin with nature. He was our first and always our friendliest cat. Always ready to sit in your lap and be petted. He always made me want to sing the Tigger song. So here it is in his honor. He will be missed.

A wonderful thing is a Tigger;
A Tigger's a wonderful thing.
Their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of spring.
They're bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun,
The most wonderful thing about Tiggers is: I'm the only one!
Yes, I'm the only one.

Enjoying the sun on a fall day.

Always looking for camouflage.

Trying to decide about the new guy.

Feeding frenzy.

Taking in the hard work last summer.
