Happy New Year

We had a nice, if quiet Christmas and New Years.  We got to celebrate the holidays with PaPa (or Grandpa T).  It was bitterly cold most of his visit, but we did do a little touring and visited Casey up in Cincinnati (Milford to be exact).

The Capital building

Lincoln was born in Kentucky, but Kentucky has not always been sure whether or not to claim him.

Some of the beautiful marble columns and staircases

 Resourceful librairians

Rebecca Ruth Candies - this house is the entire factory.  Delicious, wish you could smell and taste.

Casey and PaPa heading for the warmth of the museum

 The garden in snow.

 Interesting ceramics

An actual wedding party taking photos.  Nice setting.

My friend Bruce built this rock wall (his second)

PaPa was fascinated by the frozen water falls off the sides of the freeway - more evidence of the cold.
