Spring break begins

Today is the official beginning of Spring Break.  I decided to take a trip to Northern California as I hadn't seen my nephew Kieran since he was a newborn and he is almost 4!  Before spring though we had one last snow storm which was more wind than snow but resulted in a 2 hour delay in the start of school last Wednesday.  By Friday it was a beautiful day which made for nice flying.  I went through Denver apparently ahead of their own snow storm.  Today I got to go to music class with Ed and Kieran and then the Farmer's Market where Kieran enjoyed seeing the local fireman.  Later Kieran, Melanie and I went to the Wind Caves - photos to follow.

This is a photo of series of art I did with strips from my blood glucose monitor.
