Winter Continued

This is reportedly the coldest winter in Kentucky since 1978. This is based on the fact that we had no days in January that hit 60 degrees and went most of February, until it hit 60 yesterday. This kept us from breaking the record cold of 1978. Kind of like getting the silver instead of the gold at the Olympics. We certainly have seen more snow, if less ice, than last winter and the kids have enjoyed a snow day cancellation and a string of 2 hour delays - allowing for a bit of sleeping in on school mornings. I am recovering from a bout of pneumonia. Don't know it was from the cold or just bad luck, but I did actually stay home from work several days and I'm feeling much better. Joe is back to driving and goes to the school gym several days a week to work on his endurance and build the strength back in his legs.
